Monday morning, Coco, our little dog, started acting different. She was hiding under chairs and wouldn't come out. When we would coax her out, her tail was between her legs and she looked sad. She was outside with us over the weekend when we were planting the trees, so I looked to see if she had any stickers in her fur, but couldn't find any. We couldn't get into the vet yesterday because they were booked, but have an appointment this afternoon for her yearly shots, so we hope the vet can find out what's wrong. She growls when we touch her hindquarter and close to her belly. She still has an appetite, but isn't wagging her tail, poor little girl. She usually sleeps with us, but hasn't the last 2 nights. The scorpions and spiders are out in full force, so I'm wondering if she got bit or stung.
