What a week! Hubby and I are so tired! We worked at the house 6 days in a row! I finally got the last bedroom finished with the acid stain on the floor, and it looks really nice.

The only place left to stain is the courtyard, which I will do the same way and will start on tomorrow. It's a big area and will take most of the afternoon to do. First, it has to be scrubbed clean, then the muriatic acid wash will be done, and last but not least the stain. I'll show the after photo in a few days.

Our neighbor, Charlie, came over with his tractor and leveled out everything around the house from the flooding, so everything is looking nice again. We just can't thank Charlie enough for all of his help! We still have to get a front loader tractor out to the property to do more work in the next couple of weeks.

I will be working over at the house next week, too, we are almost ready for furniture to be moved in. Baseboard and trim pieces still need to be painted and nailed in, plus a thousand other things we can do once we are moved in. All in all, we are getting a lot done.

I should be able to get back to painting commissions the first week of October. That's all for now. Today, we are resting our weary bones.
