I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend! Hubby and I spent all of our time at the house working. Today, we are making a trip to Lowe's to get more supplies and I want to get the muriatic acid, cement stain, and epoxy gloss finish to get ready for the floor treatment in some of the rooms. I still have some scraping of carpet glue to get off of the cement floors, so I'm not quite ready to do the process. Hopefully, by the end of the week I can start staining the floors. The floors have to be spotless and mopped several times before I can start.

The kitchen is ready for the appliances to be delivered in a couple of weeks and then the granite counter tops can be put in. We are trying to get most of the work done by the end of September and we are right on schedule. We still have 6 more windows to install in the house and are getting faster at doing those. We are a bit tired, but it will all be worth it in the end, and we are saving so much money by doing all these things ourselves. We have 30 years of experience rehabing houses, so this house is pretty easy to do compared to others we have done in the past.

I'll check in when I can. Have a great day!
