Sticks and stones... (For my dad)

7/9/2014

Okay, so when I was visiting my parents last summer, before I left, dad got out this jagged rock, little tree, itty bitty plastic horse (about 1 inch in length), and asked if I could do something with them...a miniature scene of some kind. We sat down and did a pencil sketch of an idea together with a corral, cabin, fences, and a small stream that could be painted on a wooden base. I've decided to use a piece of slate for the base instead. Today, I want to start on the fencing using toothpicks and craft sticks to make the cabin, etc. This is going to be a fun project and I plan on making similar miniature scenes that will be for sale in the Store Gallery in the future.
