Recovery

I know I've been MIA here on my website. I've had to take over all of hubsters responsibilities the last few weeks plus take care of him as he couldn't walk. So hopefully now he can start walking a bit and each week will get better to where he can get around without my help.

I was able to paint a commission over the weekend and will be able to show you photos after the customer receives the package this Friday. It was a gift, so just waiting for it to arrive. I was asked not to show it on social media until then. Then I have another commission for a memorial stone coming up. So things are getting back to semi-normal here at home where I can get back into the studio.

I took hubby to his second post-op appointment yesterday. It's been almost 2 months since his ankle surgery. He now gets to start putting light pressure on his foot and start walking just a little bit every day. It's still quite painful, but he is on the road to recovery. He doesn't have to wear the boot 24/7 anymore or to bed...only when he walks with his crutches. Here are a couple of the x-rays that were taken yesterday. Look at the size of that screw! Ouch!
