Pam Ray...remembering Hanz

Hanz was a beautiful dog, that loved his kids so much, and loved playing soccer with Randy and catch with Amy, and when the little guys came he was protective of them, I still get a tear in my eye from this guy, miss him dearly. Dave would love to get a German Shepard again but they are hard to find. Hanz was gentle, loving, couldn't hurt a flea. When we got him it was cute Dave taught him how to do stairs, 1 by 1. I thought I was going to lose it and the 4 kids too. A treat after each stair. The little neighbor kids would come over and Hanz would walk right along the gutter in the street so they wouldn't go in the street. That was when we lived in Ft. Collins.

Our son Randy was a Soccer player and Dave would love to take him to his games, until 1 day when Hanz left his stay and went on the field and starting playing with the kids and then got the ball. Randy grounded the dog from ever going to another game. It was cute and boy did Hanz have fun. That dog was just a people and family loving guy, can't tell you how many times people would say he was the nicest Shepard they had ever met. Hanz was 15 years old when he passed away.
