I'm back in the studio today after painting over at the house all weekend. I can check off of my list the laundry room and 2 bedrooms...they are painted now! Just one bedroom left for next weekend, then I'll tackle the bathrooms.

Last night, when we came home I unlocked the door, turned on the porch light and let Coco outside. She bolted out of the door and went straight to something on the patio floor. It was a huge scorpion! I yelled at her to get away, and then I grabbed the nearest thing close to me and squished it! It was so big and meaty, around 4 inches long until I annihilated it!  With all of the rain we have been getting the scorpions and rattlesnakes are making more appearances. Now, I check the perimeter of the house before letting our little dog outside.

Here is a photo of the rattlesnake hubby killed last year. Scary!
