Neck Issues

Sorry I haven't been around for quite awhile. I've been having some neck issues, went to the Dr. and had an MRI. Apparently, I have a pinched nerve and a slight bulging disk and some bone spurs around the C5, C6, C7 cervical area that have been giving me some pain, well, a lot of pain off and on. Now, I know why where the pain has been coming from. So anyway, I'm getting sent to 2 Neurosurgeons to see if there is anything they can do for me. I've tried all of the non-surgical approaches over the last few years and have been dealing with neck problems for a good 10 years. My annual appointments are all scheduled for next week (mammogram, blood work, etc). Still waiting for appointments for my neck. In the meantime, I'm not supposed to do any painting, lifting rocks, etc. lol I'll try not to paint until I find out what can be done, although I think I could sneak some painting in, I better not.

On the home front, hubster is just starting to be able to put light pressure on the ankle that he had surgery on a few weeks ago. We are both a mess, but we'll get through. I certainly don't want to have any neck surgery if that will be my only alternative, until he can walk without a walker or crutches. I feel the need to follow him around when he does get up, I'm there just in case he falls. He needs to get better first, then I'll see what can be done for me. This too shall pass...
