Here is the sketch for Apolo Ohno. Rachel and I decided to have his face more straight forward while he is curled up on the rock. That way, we can see his beautiful eyes and that adorable long nose of his. Rachel said his head in real life is pretty big for his little Dachshund body, so he will look really cute this way. Next, I will start painting the brownish areas. Apolo Ohno is mostly black on his body, so I will have to do some highlights in his black fur so it doesn't look so solid.
