Okay, I'm finally finished with these 2 beautiful girls! Thelma & Louise were a challenge for me. First, I've never painted two cats on one stone, and their coloring and details took quite a bit of time to do. I'm really happy with the way they turned out, and I hope Candee is too.
It's such a small world we live in. I've talked to Candee over the last few years by email with all of the portraits I've painted for her, and it happens that her sister lives just a couple of minutes away from our house. Candee is coming from California to visit her sister here in Arizona and pick up Thelma & Louise in person. What a surprise when she told me! I rarely get to meet my customers in person, and I consider Candee a friend at this point, though we have never met, but we will the first week of March, and I can't wait!
So, the last step is to spray several coats of sealer on the portraits, let them dry for a couple of days, then they will be officially finished.
