Done for the afternoon.

I found a painting of Marie when she was 12-13 years old and thought that the dress she is wearing would look good with the shoe. I took it into Photoshop and tried to get the colors a bit clearer. The original photo of the painting was so pale and fuzzy, so I was able to sharpen it up just a bit more and get the blue and pink a bit darker. So, I will use this on the shoe after I get more findings for the back of the shoe and heel. I'm afraid I just don't have the trimmings that I want to finish it today. I'll be able to go to a couple of my favorite thrift and antique stores on Wednesday morning to see if I can find what I'm looking for, for the shoe and also a couple of other projects that need things too. It was one of those days where I had just too many interruptions. Ever have one of those? I'm sure you have! So, I promise I will show the finished piece before the week is over.
