Okay, the base coat of the grey is solid enough where I can start on the detail of the fur on Kinto's face. I will start painting mottled dark grey areas next.
Greyhounds and short haired dog breeds have more of a velvet looking coat like horses, so my technique will be different than how I paint other breeds of dogs that have longer fur. The fur detail will look more like satin instead of thousands of individual fur lines. There will still be subtle fur line details but not as much as other animals I paint.
