Okay, I found 6 small to medium sized rocks for this project.
I have always wanted to paint some rocks that say, "God Is My Rock."
My father and sister are both cancer survivors and my husband is now going through illness trials (not cancer) of his own. God certainly has been my rock in the past and he will continue to be so during these hard times. I have faith that God will pull him through these upcoming difficult months with the new medication and I am so thankful that I can take care of him at home. Painting keeps me grounded and my mind off things for awhile and it is my daily escape and therapy. Otherwise, I think I'd go crazy! Every week I will have to drive him to his Dr.'s appointments as most days he is just too weak from the side-effects to do much of anything, God bless him.
So, I have decided to paint simple crosses in metallic gold and silver with the words, then adorn them with rhinestones after the sealant is dry at the very end. I'll have to do that part tomorrow after the sealant is dry.
Here are the rocks primed and ready to start...
